Hi all. So I'm off in the caravan on Sunday and have found out that I need to have eco-friendly toilet waste liquid to use or will have to use the facilities. whilst we do use them most of the time it is the last week or the night and first thing in the morning. I have had a look and have found Thetford Aqua Kem Green. is this the right stuff? and if it is is it the stuff to go in the cassette and if so what do I use to flush!! Charming conversation but I'm a bit stuck. Any ideas appreciated. Thanks
Green will do but just use a bio washing liquid for washing machines. No need to buy the most expensive branded stuff, just go for a supermarkets own brand.
If you have used the formaldehyde blue stuff you will need to clean out the waste tank with a bleach solution otherwise the effects of the bio product will be negated. The bleach and rinse will rid the tank of any formaldehyde residue. Fabtpric softener in the flush tank water helps to make things sweeter.

wow didn't think you could use bio washing liquid. that will save a fortune. thanks so just to recap - if I use bio washing machine liquid and a bit of comfort that should work. what do I use to rinse the cistern out with (instead of the pink stuff!!)
Below is the product link for Fenwick's 'Top & Tail' toilet fluid for all chemical toilets. It provides all the information you need to know about the product and how to use it.
I just rinse with water or sometimes use fabric sotenner with the rinse water. Anyway ways wrong with a bit of smell, that's what waste tanks do so I just empty every 2 days and in seconds after rinsing and putting the cap on all is fine again. You could spray the tank with an air fresh can, but I just get it done.
thanks all I was passing go outdoors and got the blue diamond green stuff!!!! need to wash out the canister b4 I go to make sure no blue stuff is in the bottom. thanks for your help. Bude here I come!!!!!
