Hi. We are in france. We have done the biggest sin of all and has our heating and put the kettle on. It tripped the campsite unit. When we got the campsite to switch the power back on it had tripped our the rcd unit and it won't switch it back on. We have unplugged everything and switched everything off but it just will not click back on and stay on.

RCD's don't trip on overload they trip on earth faults.
If it is the RCD not MCB that won't reset then you either have an earth fault in the van that you haven't isolated,no incoming supply from the hookup post or,highly unlikely, a faulty RCD.
The RCD has a trip to test button on it try pressing the test button to ensure it isn't stuck.
