Anyone got the Sunncamp Advance 390 Air Awning ? I cant find reviews for it, but it fits my needs and is reasonably priced ? The only other awning i like is the Bradcot Modulus inflatable, which is £300 more, is it worth the extra spend ?
We have a Bradcot and after looking at the Suncamp pleased we purchased Bradcot again as there is no comparison in the quality as Claire and Colin stated you only get what you pay for,O and all those ugly guide ropes to trip over **** 😎
We have the Suncamp 220 air awning and can't fault it. Went through storm Katie at Easter in Dorset which was an area worst hit with no problems, bent with the winds and popped back up. Didn't even have to add more air next day.
We have a sunncamp 220 air and use it as a porch early/late season for boots and coolbox, it's used in bbc the worst weather and is fine. Cheap and cheerful
After some more research i'm torn now between the Sunncamp and spending a bit more for a poled awning with Ten Cate material. The Bradcot is too expensive for my liking.
It needs to be easy to put up, when i say easy i mean not complicated. I'm not too long in the tooth yet and don't mind a bit of physical grunt, but i have to do it alone as the other half has 3 ankle biters to look after when we arrive anywhere.
Bradcot and Dorema both do an XL porch for about £700, but are they easy to put up ?
Must be able to take Welsh weather so All season.
Erectable by one person
no smaller than 390 long - caravan is 5.5m
Breathable, for touring use
£650 is my limit, but woul like to spend less to get a gas BBQ if possible. Eurovent and Walker look well priced. Camptech cheaper still, but mixed reviews on them
We have a KampaRally Air Pro 390. It's in its 3rd season and has been up on our seasonal pitch since Easter in the Peak District. It has withstood torrential downpours and gale force winds. It is solid.
Is it breathable? It's not Polycotton or canvas so I guess not, but neither does it get really hot like polyester. We have had condensation issues but we have completely resolved that by leaving a 6 inch opening at the top of front and back door. We leave the fly screen closed but leave the outer door zip open slightly, even when we aren't at the van.
------------- Started with a motorbike and tent.......my gallery, my life.
We bought an outdoor revolution speed x1 on offer from Towsure, we are very impressed with it and the price we paid the model we got was a 2015 model at 1/2 the price of the 2016 model.
