If you have a bulkhead regulator you only need to change the pigtail hose, if you have the bottle top regulator you need to change to the correct regulator for the gas bottle you are using.

I'm changing the other way. I've found after a lot of experimentation that the fridge is less efficient on Propane (red) than butane (blue).
If you have a fixed bulkhead regulator it is set at 30mbar. My fridge is supposed to have a 37mbar regulator for propane, 29mbar for butane.
Therefore the gas is too low pressure on propane.
It's OK if you have an older van with cylinder top regulators as they are set at the correct pressures.
