Hello. I have recently bought a caravan after upgrading from a folding camper. It is a Lunar Venus 5 berth. I am struggling with finding an awning that meets my criteria and wondered if anyone had any pointers/ideas please.
Budget up to £1000
must be
- quick to erect, free standing pole or air
- all season
- able to take an annex
- ideally no wider than 330 as it will then start to cover my window
so far i have looked at Kamper, vango etc. i like the look of Bradcot portico range but not sure how easy they are to put up. and experience you can share would help
thanks

We have recently purchased a Kamper rally pro 260, which replaced a small porch awning. It is very well made and easy to put up , they do larger full size ones too!
We have a full size Dorema awning which is quite old but still in excellent condition, we paid extra for the aluminium poles as they are lighter! Dorema do a range of sizes and have annexes available, prices reasonable.
The smaller Kamper is used for short trips or weekends.
Our friends have a larger air version which they like, very quick to put up but quite heavy to pull round the rail due to the air tubes. Ours has conventional metal poles.

Kampa is a good make, we have the Kampa Rally Pro 390, it's excellent.
