I sold mine om Ebay and it was quite old (1991 I think)and needed some work (not damp). I was totally honest about the condition and got much more than I hoped for it.
ebay gives a wide coverage, you will certainly get the views. How many of those will be genuine buyers is what matters though.
It will certainly sell on ebay, selling this late in the year is a poor choice though. Lots will be buying it to store over the winter and will want to pay less.
If you can wait until just before the school holidays next year then it will likely get a better price.
Agree with Grampian,if you can hold on until next spring you will get more for your van . I purchased mine in the spring and probably paid too much for it. £1800 for a 1995 van!
But the most important thing is condition and DAMP . I was lucky to get a nice dry one with tons of extras so didnt mind paying a bit more.
Ebay is a good place to sell but can be expensive,Gumtree is also good and free !
