Hi, I'm sure there is an adjustable flap at the rear of the heater fan motor. From memory, it's a metal flap that can alter the amount of heat distributed to the front and rear pipes, allowing you to "balance" the system to your liking. In our van, you have to remove the floor panel in the wardrobe floor and lean right in to see it properly.
The Truma works best as just a fire when on electric only, our van sat at 26c last new years eve using it this way. If you want to run the fan then Truma recommend running on gas or gas & electric combined, at least thats how our instructions read on our 2012 van.
