Hi all
I have a touring caravan sited on a permanent pitch on a site in Devon which closes from the end of October until mid March.
I would be grateful for any advice on how I should leave it over winter especially on the following issues:-
Should I take the battery out and recharge it periodically over the winter?
How do I reduce the risk of mould through condensation? I have heard that you can leave a bowl of salt in the van to absorb moisture - does this work.
Should I leave some of the Windows on the ventilation setting.
I have heard that you should leave all of the cupboard doors open to allow air to circulate freely, is this the case.
Answers to the above and any other advice will be most gratefully received.
Thanks in advance
John
