Hi all
We've just purchased a bailey with the alko wheel lock, does anyone have any tips about lining it up when you pitch? I thought I had it nicely lined up last night, only to find when we unhitched it was half an inch out, by the time I had realised that we had the legs down, so I guess one tip is to put it on as soon as you drop the jockey wheel ! But are there any other tips - thanks very much.

We always put it on first once we know we are level. If you've no mover do it while hitched to your car.

If its just a little bit out you may get away with just moving the vans hitch a little to the left or right, depending on which way you want the wheel with the lock on to move.
But in general you need to line the wheel up before you settle the van in. If its any consolation I've done this more than once.
------------- Just saying
If all is not lost where is it then?

If you put the hand brake on one click you can move the van by turning the wheel where the lock fits. You'll be surprised how easy it is to move.

My advice is chuck the Alko wheel lock in the bin and buy yourself a Nemesis Wheel Lock.
They do pretty much the same thing, but don't take hours of fine adjusting to fit.
