Quick question guys, best way to Cromer from north Manchester. Presume M62, A1, A17, A148. How long do you think on a Saturday or Sunday morning. next summer.
After you get along the A17 most of the journey is single carriageway so I just relax into the journey and go with the flow. Worth the journey though, lovely part of the country.
Lovely area. We usually take about 4.5 hrs, including at least one stop.
Do NOT do this journey on a Friday. It once took us ten hours. Longest ten hours of my life as my daughter cried the whole time and my son threw up twice. Fantastic.
In Norfolk it does not make any difference what time of day or time of year you always seem to be stuck behind that yellow flashing light of a combine or a huge tractor.
Worth the wait though.
try and avoid the A17 if you can ,better to go down the A1 and get on the A47 via North Peterborough...longer maybe, but much better roads,,believe me i go that way a lot

Agreed, much better journey & route.
Went last week to Hunstanton, journey there via A1/A47 and came back via A17. Wished I came back via A1 - roads much better for towing
every on e thanks. went down that way last week via A17 from Newark on business. Stuck behind lorries and tractors most of the way. Its for next Summer so would be leaving early Sunday Morning i expect..
