Just buying my second caravan in a row from White Arches and I must say they are superb. Spotted a problem on my last van with 5 days left on the warranty but they did not quibble and made high quality repairs in their workshop. Picking up a new Bailey of them next weekend

Having had a Folding Camper (Pennine) for nine years, we switched to a caravan this year.
Went through all the usual research, pricing etc etc ... ended up seeing a Sterckeman Alize Concept 480 CP whilst browsing in France (summer 2015) ... fell in love with the 'look' ... sourced one in Germany (6 months old, and in perfect condition), so got a really good caravan at probably half the price of a comparable UK model.
We spent two months touring France Spain and Portugal this summer ... loved it ... it's lightweight, for its size ... easy to tow and looks good as well as having some superb fittings and design ... eg the 230L drawer fridge. It's made by Trigano ... same company as make the Silver series ...
We store it in France and use it on the continent, mainly summers, so don't have any issues with UK weather conditions throughout the year. But, when we did a couple of weeks in April (after collecting it from Hannover), we found it very comfortable in low temperatures, with an efficient/effective heating system.
There's a lot to be said for considering european suppliers, despite the exchange rate, still think there is potentially better value there.
