Hi just wondered if someone could help me, I have lost my caravan keys, I have found spare ones for locks etc but I will need one for the main entrance door. does any one know if you can get hold of them or will it be a job for swift as I do not have one to match up and the key also has a button to turn off and on the alarm, Thanks, Terry

They are available from your Swift dealer. One of mine was missing when I bought my van, but a replacement was obtained from Swift. If its anything like cars though, be prepared to supply I/D and proof of address and ownership for obvious reasons.

First thing I did when I got my new van was to record the key numbers, not being clever, was told to do this by the dealer. But Swift should have the numbers when you give model, year and vin number

The dealer you bought the van from will have the numbers and they will also get replacement keys for you.

Anyone else secrete a spare key around the outside of their unit?
I've done it ever since we managed to lock ourselves out altogether, and had to bodily shove the mrs through an external locker hatch (opened with a 5p coin!) up into the below-seating void and into the van.
Never again! And no, im sure the insurance wouldn't approve, but it would be easier for a thief to swipe the whole van, than spend time looking for a key that may not even exist.

We just have 2 keys, the missus has one and i have one. You cannot lock both sets in the van.

I contacted swift customer services today and was given the key number from their database, the lady was very helpful. she said I have to go to a swift dealer and order keys through them and if I get the order number I can monitor order through swift, good service I thought.

Most dealers sell spare keys but you have to know number on original key most start with WD - - - -. you can open window with smooth hacksaw blade or pallet knife push up levers by inserting between rubber and window. but be careful not to damage window or rubber I didnot tell you that also stable door bottom half can be opened. ??

I ordered my keys from the dealer I bought my caravan from, very straight forward process although I got key number from swift the dealer had the numbers anyway, £40.00 for a set of 2 keys which I am quite pleased about as I expected more.
