Hello
I'm in Nova Scotia, Canada and have recently purchased a 1968 Bailey Mikado.
Information over here is extremely scarce. Is there a site or a section devoted to early Bailey caravans/campers.
I would like to know first if there is a location where I could get a spare wheel?
Thanks
Mike

There are various classic caravanning pages on Facebook. I know a few people on then own vintage Baileys.

My parents friends had a 1970 Mikado from new until the 80's.

Thanks Greg, but the folks at that link don't seem to have much 'vintage' info AND they charge to be a member of their group.
Iain mentioned Facebook and while I try to avoid Facebook, I did do some rooting around did find a couple of people who used to own Mikados but don't any longer. They aren't much info.
I need a source for a spare wheel and an entrance door handle for example ....so far a blank!
Thanks

I'm sure others will have suggestions for the wheel, but for the handle, if you can post of picture of what you actually have left on the door, someone may recognise it and be able to suggest a source. It's impossible to see the door handle in the pictures I can find on the net.
You can post pictures to your gallery images if you don't have photobucket or similar

Hi Mike,
I know there is a fee to join but this might be useful.
Judging by your name You are going to tow it with a Harley.

Alan
Pictures...Duh !!!
Thanks. Excellent suggestion on pictures and where to post them.
I'm on several forums on this side of the water but this one is a bit different so I'm trying to get used to it. Perseverance may be the key! lol
We have rain today, but maybe pictures tomorrow.

Greg
I see you may have discovered my aversion to fees...it's my Scottish blood... lol
A quick glance tells me that 'retrocaravanclub' just may have some potential..tks.
The Harley was another of my less that brilliant restoration ideas...there are many more; my poor wife ! lol
