A different post by the OP could suggest this caravan has had some internal modifications, ie a fixed bed, could that be the additional weight that is causing problems?

I can't understand A) why hes wanting to lift the van up (without the JW), and B) why he wants it to tip backwards when he walks into it?? And, whats been happening since April?
I would never think of even trying to raise my van under my own steam, and cannot think of a reason why i would even try.

Ye that does seem strange, but if the OP is new to caravans (we cant really tell from the first post) then perhaps they don't know.
That's kind of why I always suggest people go on a caravan towing course, they explain everything to do with towing including nose weight.
rob rob rob sorry about the delay mate but i have just waighed the front end off carravan at last lol and it waighs 100 KG LIKE I SAID IT IS FINE AT GOING BACK AND FORWARD BUT WHEN YOU TRY TO TURN WITH THE REMOTE CONTROLL IT DOES NOT WANT TO KNOW I THINK IT IS A DODGY JOCKY WHEEL SO WILL TRY TO BORROW ONE THIS WEEK HOPEFULLY ITS THAT BUT FINGERS CROSSED THANKS ROB
If the noseweight is 100 kg when the caravan is empty what is it when the caravan is loaded? Alko stabilisers have a max noseweight of 100 kg so you may well be overloading the hitch. What's the max noseweight for the tow car? You're probably overloading the tow bar as well.
Have you got 2 movers or four.
Also you must have the jocky wheel up at least 2 inch to stop it locking into place. Your see a cut out at the bottom where it locks in.
I have a single mover on our van, on the front axle.
Truma SE,
You will only turn while moving backwards or forward, at the same time holding down the direction button, left or right.
If you try left or right without moving fore or aft,the van rocks either way and comes back to the centre position.
Takes a bit of getting used to but when you do its ok.
It will still rock even when you get it right.
