Sprite Super Sprite Major L

Hello. Just bought the above, seems good, although will get a check done (& repair the heater if possible) when I can find a reasonable engineer.

Not had any luck finding a manual yet. Have found a brochure but no manual.
How to put the beds up at each end? L shape end has a table, does this just pull/twist out from floor? Top pulls off but leg seems stuck in floor and I don't want to break the floor mount.
Can I use a bigger gas cylinder? It says in the brochure 2x cylinders, so (allowing for the fact that a new strap would be needed) can I use 1 x 13-15kg instead?

Anyone have any advice/views on this model? It seems pretty decent to me but I'm new to all this!

Thanks in advance

Table leg pulls out of floor, ours was pulled out regularly.Click on this link and then year of your caravan in the box for handbook

Putting larger bottles of gas will increase the nose-weight so be careful when loading

Ok, thanks for that. I wasn't sure if it was threaded or not and was wary of damaging the floor mount. I'll WD40 it and give it a gentle twist. I'm assuming that putting the bed together is common sense, at both ends. Fingers crossed.

Swift don't list anything older than 2000. Obviously they don't think we should have anything older. Recycle? Pah. Bury it in landfill and buy a new one. Very disappointing.

As I said in the original post, this 'van is supposed to carry 2x 6/7kg bottles, so by my reckoning, 1x 13/14kg would probably weigh about the same.

Thanks very much for replying though and for the info about the table.

But the advantage of having two bottles is that if one runs out you have the other to use while you get the first refilled.

Provided large bottle will fit into gas locker & can be strapped in securely then a large bottle is ok. As pointed out disadvantage of one bottle is that you have no gas if it runs out halfway through cooking dinner. This time of year you need propane gas in the red bottles.

As for manual, it's not that important. It's not difficult to work out how so pull out beds. Just have a bit of a play around, you should work it out. All other info is available online, how to work fridge etc. Just google for everything or ask on here, somebody will know.

Aye, I need to check size of gas bottles, straps etc.
Also height of battery, so that I can get a spare and alternate.

You're right, I'm sure the beds etc will be fairly straightforward. Thanks for the confidence.
