I have a dilemma we have a four berth Bailey pageant champagne but my family has grown one more lol ages 10 month, two,six problem this year is sleeping arrangements we can't at present invest in a new Van was thinking the little two to share bottom bunk but the middle one won't have it.
Any body been here before?

I think at that age topping and tailing would be the way to go. Try and make it an adventure or 'being big' for the 2 year old. we topped and tailed for many years and mostly had a good night's sleep. Perhaps buying 2 children's sleeping bags so they have their own 'bed'.
Try it for a weekend first and build up from there. Even going close to home to a cheap site.

When my sister and nephew stopped with us we made the double bed at front as normal but slept length ways on the bench seats. Three of us fit easily, smallest person in the middle with this arrangement.

is this the layout with bunks from the dinette, rear washroom and the double at the front?

i guess at 10 months he/she is so small a travel cot is still a possibility?

you certainly wouldn't have a problem sharing the front double. indeed, my 4 and 7 year old have there own bunks but often the youngest climbs into our bed anyway some time in the night.

perhaps you can make a small bunk elswhere in the caravan for the middle child who is short enough to fit in a temporary bunk and old enough not to roll out of it although my youngest still rolls out of his bottom bunk with a thud during the night. i did make him a rail in our last caravan but the position of the ladder and the locker made it easier than it is in our current caravan.

although i dont have an old vintage caravan i take an interest in them and some folks have made children's bunks that even span over the kitchen sink. you could make one that runs above the front double across the front window over the chest of draws?
