A lot of ladies go campervanning on their own. I have a diddy Kip caravan that is only 10ft long, but it has all the necessaries and so easy to tow. I go on my own, but I do have my dog for company and usually go to rallies where I meet other like minded people! :)

Thank you all for your lovely comments...he died in September and it's taken me this long to even contemplate what to do with it.
And if anyone knows of anyone wanting a caravan...point them in the direction of my ad!
Hi Veema,
Just to let you know my Mum and Dad were literally joined at the hip, after he retired they done everything together.
When my Dad passed away 17 years ago at the age of 70 we thought my mother would never cope.
Well last week we celebrated her 91st birthday.
Last year while my wife was visiting her relatives in the USA she came away in my motorhome and loved it.
The year previous,we took her on the narrow boat we have part shares in,,again she loved the whole experience.
We never forget my Dad, but I know he would not wish my Mum to sit and grieve.
I hope happy times return to you soon.
I am listening out for anyone after a caravan, and will certainly point them in your direction.
As others have said, don't lose touch on here.
Very best wishes,
Greg
If you don't want to tow you might consider "tenting". Great tents available nowadays with headroom to stand and only 2 or 3 person. With sewn in groundsheets they can be very cosy. A camp bed with a self inflating mattress on top and pillows and duvet from home instead of a sleeping bag makes for cosy sleeping. Cooking can be done on a gas double burner and all washing up/ablutions at camp site facilities. Agreed that rallies are great for the friendly social side.
When you are ready you will enjoy this. In the meantime take care but always keep one hand for yourself.
Just to wish you all the very best. i very much remember your posts as we both went from FC to Adria's.
Wishing you future happiness however you choose to spend it.
So...the caravan has gone today and I shed a few tears, but has been picked up by a lovely family off here. I hope they love it as much as we did and they get many years of enjoyment out of it.
