Hi
Can anyone tell me if a 300 awning will fit without covering any of the front window. We measured the straight rail but it's difficult to get exact when you're on the ground at the dealers and can't reach the rail itself😀

but you can hold a tape against the body at waist height, open it to 3m and look up to check rail and then where the window is, cant you?

Yes, I did hold the tape at waist height and look up, I'm not completely without common sense; it looks like it's 300 or thereabouts, but just wanted to make sure, as you can't really tell exactly that way. The dealer was with me at the time. It's not given in the spec of the van, and the awnings specialist hadn't got figures either. As a last resort I'll call Swift tomorrow.

Maybe a possibility. But we're buying the caravan anyway. The awning is only a maybe. As in maybe I'll buy the 300, or maybe I won't, and if I do, I probably won't buy it from there anyway as it's cheaper elsewhere. We've had a really good deal on the van, with a good px price, so if I have to wait and sort out the awning at a later date it won't be the end of the world. We've already got three different porch awnings that I know will fit, I just quite fancied an airbeam, and the one I like is 300. I think it might just cover a couple of cm on the edge of the window, just wondered if anyone had a Sport 442 and knew for definite.
