What do you want. When and where are you starting and when and where are you finishing? Otherwise just take off and find sites as you go by using your maps and getting online to seek sites perhaps on the cap site search of this forum. Unless you have some sort of plan can anyone help? Good luck.

It's not difficult to tour the UK for 6mnths. Get a relative or friend to check your post at your home for anything that looks important & enjoy your trip. If you are away for an extended period it's a good idea to have somebody you trust to check your home on at least a weekly basis anyway.

You will need to check your house insurance. There is a clause about how many consecutive weeks the house is unoccupied. May need to get friends or family to stay over once in a while.

We find it easier to pop home every 6 weeks or so wash iron then go again..

why do you wish to tour the uk in particular?

if i had 6 months i think i would head to the Mediterranean coast or perhaps the Aegean.

living costs in the UK are expensive and lets face it the weather is rubbish.
