How much would you expect to pay Insurance wise on a new caravan and equipment value 25000.00
all the hitch locks wheel locks and wheel clamps plus alarm etc.

just wondering what sort of quotes to expect when i collect new van

We pay around £260.00 new for old with a policy through the Camping and Caravan Club, try every year for something cheaper to no avail. Our van is in a gold standard storage site with hitch and wheel locks and a tracker installed.

we pay £198 with Frank Pickles, van is 4 years old now but new for old insurance.
Van is at home.

Thanks for reply's had numerous quotes now at the moment old van is insured by caravan club and they are quoting £340 which seems about right and they cover old van and new one together for 14 days to make sure I take one up and bring new one home the 14 days means any problem collecting or delivering on certain day still covered

please do not forget to update the insures of the new van prices each year otherwise you could accidently void your new for old cover
