Hi, looking for some advice, meant to be going away this weekend in our caravan but have been struggling since we went away 2-3 weeks ago to find a replacement key after snapping ours off in the front locker. We had to force open the hook up box so we could use the electric but meant we couldn't use the toilet as we had no access to the cassette hatch. I can't seem to find anyone that still stocks vecam keys with a code of 1681. Does anyone have any advice which would mean me getting it sorted by the weekend? Was sure we had a spare but true to form it's nowhere to be found when we need it!
Thanks in advance.
Thanks for that, I have emailed quite a few companies over the last few days, these included, just waiting on replies. seems to be quite difficult to locate due to the age.
Try to obtain a strong magnet if possible then spray some WD40 into the lock and see if the key blade will budge. Even if it comes out slightly with a magnet it should withdraw enough to grab with some long nose pliers. If this can be done then take the advice from 'Opensauce' and see if you can get a key cut locally.
can you remove the lock itself and take that to a good locksmith I did that some years ago on a transit van and he got the key out and recut me two keys
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
