KNAUS has at no notice have put back the delivery of a caravan from Feb to May - is there anything I can do about this? It has ruined my holiday plans.

Is this normal for Knaus - do they have production problems, or are they just an unreliable company?

Probably behind with that particular model or could be unavailabilty of things like cookers/fridges/electrical/chassis parts whatever. It can affect all makes of caravan. If you want to cancel & get refund of deposit you need to check t&c's to see what it states about late delivery but certainly a dealer cannot keep you hanging on forever. I would have thought with a 3mnth delay you should get option of cancelling deal & full refund of deposit.

Probably right Opensauce..I am sure Knaus use the bpw chassis..iF so they probably have shortages of the wheel locks and receivers.This is what is happening with elddis buccaneer range and is causing similiar delays.Not the easiest of jobs to retro-fit the receiver --so the vans are being held back.The insurance company wouldnt be too happy about it either If your 2 week old pride and joy disappeared whilst waiting for a wheel-lock!
