Hi all,
As always I'm after some info.
We will be visiting a site soon that has all fully serviced pitches, I have a basic idea what this entails, but just what extras do I need to get to make my stay even easier?
Just to give you an idea, I've seen vans with plastic waste pipe connected to their vans and then going directly to the waste point, how much and what size diameter will I need to do the same?
Would you recommend I get the aqua roll mains water kit?
For sure the mains water kit will make your life easier, presuming it's not a shared tap. No constantly filling the aqua roll.. Makes washing up, showering, veg prep etc just the same as at home, (hot water is obviously limited).
As for the waste, we use a combination of a long length of waste pipe, and solid pipes to connect the waste to the waste drain on the site - no need to take the waste-master. There's a great blog somewhere with details on how to pipe up the waste, I'll try google and find it and post the link on here...
I got a mains kit but it leaks all the time and leaves the ground wet so just get in habit of filling aqua roll few times a day, its still handy as tap is near by. I have seen a thread about having 2 rolls so you always have one filled.
I have a longer length of waste tube BUT it depends where your outlet is compared to the drain so I always take watemaster.
BUT space and weight are not issues as I have a pickup with a canopy.
------------- if your not living life on the edge your taking up tooo much room
One good idea is if you connect to the water tap have a splitter so you can get water direct from one side to fill the kettle, drinking water etc as we don't drink water from the caravan direct.
