If it's cold and you have butane gas they may stop working. You need propane in cold weather. Try again in warm weather to prove or disprove this.
If you have an electric kettle boil some water and pour it over the gas cylinder, see if that is the problem.
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.
Thermocouple sounds to be faulty. It heats up while you are holding the knob in (so to speak) then opens up the gas flow to allow it to stay on. This may not be 100% accurate, but its not far off. If the thermo's duff, the gas wont stay lit.
