Hi has anyone got or had one of these awnings and would be able to advise on, especially if used on a seasonal pitch.

I've had a couple of these, they're good, well made awnings.
I've never used one on a seasonal pitch but I can't see any problem using one like that. Depending on size etc, a few extra ridge poles wouldn't go amiss to stop water pooling on the roof and make sure it's well nailed down before leaving it, especially if you're in an exposed location.

Just noticed you've got a 540 challenger as well. That was what we had as our first van, loved it and it got us hooked on the whole caravanning thing.

Thanks we are also hooked. It's our first caravan and it's one of the best decisions we ever made along with getting the seasonal pitch

Had a Starcamp and found it excellent value for money.
Dorema quality at budget price. As per above post all Dorema accessories fit so no spares issues.

Thanks for the replies. I have been informed by Dorema and another website that it is only suitable as a touring awning.

Have bought a different one

Now need to sell the Dorema porch awning
