I have a Bailey pegasus 2013 with a roof dish as standard not sure what model or make.
I am wondering if I can tak3 my sky box from the house and plug it in and use it as a freeview box as my TV doesn't have free view?
If so could some tell me how to do this?
If you have the standard fit aerial then it is just an aerial, not a sat dish. The aerial will need a Freeview box if the tv does not have one fitted. If you want to watch satellite tv you will need a satellite dish and either a Freesat box or a Sky box.
Or you could upgrade the TV to one with built in Freeview.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Aldi have the portable satellite dish kit back in stock, £70 gets you the dish, all fixtures, LNB, satellite finder and case, you could use that with your SKY box.
Ive read good things about it, though some have upgraded the suction cup fitting to a pole mounted system.
We've downloaded Kodi onto our tablet; we get 10gb data per month which is plenty to watch a couple of films, and live football on Saturday afternoons if we want to. Just link the tablet to the tv and watch it through the tv screen.
