We have an Abi Jubilee Viceroy 1995 with a set of drawers between two large sofas but when we want to make the bed up we have to take these out and just leave them in front of the oven, is there a more practical place to put them?
Can't you make the bed up with the drawers left in place? Usually this leaves you with a 4 ft wide double bed, I've never come across a caravan where you have to remove the drawers every night.
Yes you do not usually remove the chest of drawers the bed makes up with them in place. we had an ABI and you used the four cushions to make the bed the chest of drawers
stayed put.
The seat cushions are designed to be able to make a double bed with the centre drawers left in situ. The slats are pulled out, the two base cushions slide into the centre directly placed on top of the slats and the back cushions drop down to fill the remaining space each side under the each window. This is the norm with this type of layout unless it's an 'L' shaped lounge design whereby the cushion positions will differ.
