We have a Bradcot Active awning where the material covering the piping has ripped/frayed badly in a couple of places exposing the plastic piping. If we keep using it the awning rail will rip it even more. It's a second hand awning so looking to do a DIY job rather than pay a lot as it's not really worth it. So we're looking for the best way to repair this without having to replace the piping all the way round the awning. Any help/ideas much appreciated. Thanks
It might be second hand, but if you use/need it, it has to be worth fixing surely? (unless its about knackered all over?) Could a tent/awning repairer possibly stitch a new piping round? Cant be that dear, surely.

Awning repairers fit new piping (beading) when they extend or shorten an awning. We had ours extended several years ago.
We used Canvas Repair Services.

We've already got an awning - this one came unexpectedly as a bonus with an annex that we bought. Other than the piping it's fine so we wanted to either repair it before we sell it or repair it and keep it as a spare.
Well no-one in their right mind is going to buy a damaged awning. So its either get it fixed properly or bin it. If the fix isnt economically viable, id bin it if it was a freebie.
