Hi
there are 2 separate things here. When you connect your water to the caravan, you fill the hot tank by running the hot tap until it starts to run out of the tap. Your water barrel provides water to both your hot and cold taps. The blown air heating is not reliant on water. You can run the unit as an electric or gas radiator or "fan heater.
