Thats over a gallon! Almost the full tank. Saying that, i just travel with whatevers in, but i make sure its not actually brimming when i know we will be on the road soon.

I usually put a couple of litres in for travel with some pink fluid.
I have a 5 litre plastic can for top tank filling.
