Has anyone had this problem. Just bought new fiamma caravanstore for our caravan, tried to put it up this weekend for first time and couldn't get the legs extended enough for the snap buttons to click in??? Either the fabric isn't long enough or the arms are too long/holes in the wrong place. Have asked to return and get replacement new one from dealer which they are sorting, but just interested if anyone else had this issue as couldn't see any problems reported online at all. Maybe I have just been unlucky.
Do you mean the roof beams rather than legs? If so they can be quite tight, especially on first use. You could try standing on the caravan step and using the pull/push maneuver which means grasping either side of the beam where it slides apart so in effect pushing the arm back towards the caravan whilst pulling the other section away from the caravan. You often only have to move it half an inch to get to work. Alternatively leave it unrolled on the side of the van, ideally when the sun is out and retry.

Thanks David, yes I meant the horizontal arms. It got to the point they were denting the side of the van upon wrestling with them so I stopped. Will see what the replacement is like. Will remember the letting it hang a while to stretch it.
