We've had condensation in our light cluster from almost new. Been resealed once but no change. The fix often used is apparently to drill the bottom of the light. For peace of mind it might be worth getting a damp test done.

Would think it unlikely usually when there's condensation in a light it's water getting in trough a bad seal or crack may even just need the retaining screws nipped up

Have you got a reversing camera? Some twit might have drilled the back of the reversing light fitting for the trigger wire and not sealed it up.

Water inside lights is not usually condensation, but rain getting in via a defective seal. Eventually this will cause corrosion of the lighting terminals, plus it increases the risk of same water getting into the van via the cable entry points. Another reseal required, plus a careful check of the fitting

I recently have placed an order for a brand new Swift Sprite caravan, this was at end of Feb, van being delivered next week. Whilst at the dealers though I noticed every single one of the demo vans had condensation in the right hand lens, I also noticed this at another dealer too on some if their swift vans.

wipe inside of lense and reflector if it has one with some duck oil.

I have just got my new coachman lusso so far very happy except for condensation on rear light clusters so could go back get sorted under warranty but decided to check myself unscrewed light cluster there are small rubber grommets behind light cluster, just removed them lights totally clear now the grommets are miniature su u will really need to scrutinise rear of light to see them 4 in each cluster, no need to drill holes just remove grommets job done !!!

I have a 1992 cosalt Abbey GTS..212..the renovations I have carried include removing aluminium trims and resealing.removal of complete toilet ,shower tray and handbasin,plastic panel etc..checking wiring and converting a swift challenger wiring diagram to abbey colour codes..(internal views of PMS consumer/charger).fitted 12volt isolater, voltmeter and "cigar socket" into battery box.fitted all new herzim trim and recond buffer strip..if I find how to put images on this site I will..all work has been photoad ha ha step by step.ALL WAYS ensure your safety by removal of electric supply if electrical work is being under taken.If your no sur
