Most items are universal and made by other manufacturers. Getting the manual for individual items maybe better.

Hi,
Although the club only carries manuals 2000 on you might be lucky and find an earlier one amongst the club members.
As Grampian says if you make a note of water heater,cooker ,fridge etc it is sometimes easier to get the online manuals for the individual items.

Those listed in the link are all for Swift branded Bessacarr, whereas the OPs van is a genuine Bessacarr.
As with many manuals they tend to be generic. I do have a manual, which I believe is around 1996 - perhaps a bit late for you?
A very good quality van in its day too

Hi Kazbat - the manual is an original bound booklet, rather than a .pdf so not for emailing as such.
Due to wife's big birthday, lots going on, so it will be Sat before I can update you on exactly which year its for. Anything specific you need info on?

Ok so the manual is for 1996 models and a 550GL is listed. As expected, it is generic in that it doesn't state what kit is fitted to each model - instead you identify what's in the van, then read the relevant instructions.

Even modern caravan manuals aren't that well put together and often quote passages from the component suppliers own instructions.
Its often more useful to search for the component but include 'pdf' in the search, as a great sets of instructions for all sorts of kit exist in this format.Then you can download and store in whatever medium suits.
