Hi I wonder if any one can help, I have a conqueror 645 lux 2007, I was silly and let the water run out, now I have filled it I managed to get the airlock out but it seems that when you turn the tap off next time you switch it on it takes ages to come through again, still coughing and spluttering, I filled up the aqua roll and when I I turned the hot tap off I saw that the aqua roll was over flowing, is there any way it can be running back through the pump into the aqua roll? I have not touched any valves and it was all working fine before, any ideas as to why this is happening and how I can stop it, any help will be really appreciated as I would love to have running hot water again, thank you x
Hi on further testing when you turn the hot tap off and lift out the pump water pours out the bottom of it, didn't think this possible. Does this mean a new pump?
My guess would be that there must be a non return valve somewhere in the system. I had a 1991 van where the non return valve was in the water heater and it got damaged by frost.
The yellow lever(s) are just drain taps-they have no other function.
Where there is an onboard tank there is another changeover tap or lever(perhaps white or black) to allow the user to select from the tank, or the Aquaroll

On my Swift Conqueror it is not a physical tap but a setting on the control panel that selects if I use the internal tank or just the Aquaroll.
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

But this wouldn't apply to the OPs 2007 van...
I guess you have a 3 way electrical motorised valve. That, with a centre biased rocker switch is an easy and inexpensive way to make life easier than grovelling on the floor to flip the changeover lever.
I have considered using this type of valve for the system drains too, but that is not quite as easy.
