The Alde pump in our 2016 Coachman is in the wardrobe next to the fixed bed. Overnight the sound of the pump switching on and off to maintain temperature is most annoying to a light sleeper! Apparently, later caravans have an inline pump, located under the front bunk, following complaints about this.
My query is, I want to have a replacement inline pump installed under the bunk. The Alde certified engineer in Buxton did not know anything about this inline pump. He also said he could not change the two year fluid for the five year fluid as he couldn't make the investment into the equipment required. (We wanted to have this done at the same time).
I phoned Alde for advice. Recorded message said they were closed please call back later (no clue as to when they are next open). An email sent to Alde still, as yet, unanswered. Disappointing, as Alde generally get a good press on these forums. If anyone has had this type of work done in the Buxton/Macclesfield/Stockport area, it would be useful to learn how you got on
Alde are on annual shut down until 8th August I think. It's on there website. An Alde engineer can't do a fluid change or doesn't know about the inline pump is this some sort of joke.

That's a link to the inline pumps, they have been around and fitted on vans for a few years now. As far as I'm aware it can be fitted instead, there normally fittted close to the boiler. Is he defiantly certified by Alde? Yeah ok there pump kit for the fluid exchange is expensive but it's also not needed and can be done without it. Have seen plenty of threads on here from people changing it themselves.
