I have recently purchased a 1991 caravan 5m.4 berth, with an Isabella Olympia awning. Unfortunately it has no curtains in the awning. I have been advised that I need 'C clip' curtains. I can't find any or information about the fixing. Which is a downward hanging plastic strips above the windows.
Any ideas how I can hang curtains...

You may not need clips on the curtains as it sounds like it's the other method of hanging awning curtains so need to be clear on this first before buying any as you could buy the wrong sort of fittings.
The downward hanging plastic strips above the windows, are they looped sewn in with one at either end?
If they are then the curtain hangs via telescopic poles with a plastic cap at each end. The curtains are much the same idea as net curtains where there is a hole through the top and the telescopic poles thread through which are then hung on the loops at either end above the awning window.

OP's question: Any ideas how to hang awning curtains?

I know you are new to this forum but if you don't have the courtesy to reply to my question (above) then why ask at all?

To the OP

The curtains comes with little plastic clips in the shape of a flattened C. These slip into the plastic groove that is part of the awning.

That's pretty much it.

To Shaggy 2000. I had heard of course clips but can find no sites that sell them or the curtains. Without knowing what I'm looking for. I'm scuppered.... are they known by any other names?

Okay thanks for replying. As it's not the rod type fixing then the ones you need are called awning curtain profile fixings which come in packs and are fitted onto the fixed strip above the awning windows. You need to measure for curtains then attach the profile fixings to the top of the curtain. However, Isabella may be a slightly different fitting looking at the link below so to make sure I would advise to contact their customer service to see what advice they can offer.

If all fails you could basically make your own, get whatever type of fabric you want and then just attach these clips to the top.

That is "J rail", same as in mine. I got a length from " Caravan stuff 4 you" and cut small pieces to sew, upside down onto my new curtains. Then they just hook onto the existing rail. Just had a look on their website, they don't have any at the moment. Sorry.
