Is this carrier especially for caravans? Only ive never ever seen a caravan with a rear carrier before. Only ones have been foreign units, with a bike rack on the tow bar.

Plenty of Dutch use rear bike racks on caravans. Ok if your nose weight is ok. An A frame carrier would probably be better if your car noseweight is up to it. UK caravans have short A frames though so you would need a carrier that raises bikes higher & backwards.
I would think if manufacturer approves rear rack fitting then ok.
Just a thought, do you really want to add 50-60kgs of additional weight to your caravan bearing in mind you should have a max payload of around 160kgs, meaning you could only load approx 100kgs, best advice is to load your caravan with your usual things i.e. Cutlery, pot pans, food bedding etc and go to a weigh bridge (I bought a caravan scale) and find out what it weighs then work out of you can actually add the the weight of your bikes and rack. I looked into this for ours and found the caravan is right on its weight limit anyway so the bike now go on the roof rack. I do weigh our caravan each and everytime (I know it's a bit sad and I'm 35 but I don't want points on my licence for overloading)
We had it fit on our 2015 challenger sport. We havent noticed any difference when towing. We put 2 hybrid bikes on. So much better than lifting them in and out of the van.
