Hi guys, First time out with the van and a slight problem with our water pump, we have to switch it on and off everytime we want to use a tap as the pump stays on, I've spoke to a few others on site and they say the pump should only come on when the tap is switched on, any ideas??

Most taps switch the pump on by using either microswitches in the tap, (this tends to be the older way of doing things) or by a pressure switch in the supply system that activates when any of the taps are opened.

First thing, - is this a problem on only one tap or any of them? That should help determine which system your van uses.

All taps Dave. When I switch the pump on it stays on, instead of going off then come on when a tap is turned on

If there is a pressure switch,it can normally be adjusted either by a thumbwheel or using a screwdriver.
They are normally found under a seat box close to where the water comes in.
