I'm looking at buying a Freedom Jetstream and unsure of a couple of things, firstly the shower, how does the water heat up? Also tow bars been quoted £500+ for one for a Nissian Juke still in warranty, thanks sorry for dumb questions but now to caravaning
I had a Jetstream and our water was heated with electric. But the water heater was only about 5litres. So if you want a shower, make it a quick one!
Probably, if you want a Nissan towbar, you will have to pay top dollar. My advice would be, price around.
I don't think a shower is necessary in a caravan that small. I would just use site facilities. The price for dealer fit towbar is reasonable. For that you get a warrantied fitting with correct electrics used. While getting an aftermarket towbar fitted will not void car warranty any problems, usually electrical caused by towbar fitting that cannot be resolved by towbar fitting company so require main dealer workshop attention will have to be paid for.
Ha ha!
I have just bought a Freedom Jetstream.
It's my first caravan. I can't wait to use it.
Our hot water just consists of a kettle too.
