We have a 2012 542dt. We've been very happy with it. Family of 5. Bunk size great (we have triple one) and kids manage even though teenagers. It would be nice to have a bit more kitchen worktop, but we've been ok though. I know some have lift up flap extension now or you can get something to put in sink cover. The table opposite the cooker is very handy when cooking. We had electric heating element added, but it might come with that in 2013? The van has been warm and cosy. It tows really well and lightweight (1300kg mtplm). The sides, not being aluminium mean it has not got a single dint after 5 years extensive use. It feels quite spacious as is it is a tad wider than most UK vans. The large bathroom is great as in winter with no awning you can put shoes and coats in there. We would have another adria without a doubt. The only problem we had is the battery cupboard door hinge has broken. Also some overhead cupboards currently need the hinge screws removing, hole filling and rescrewing as come loose. This happened to little table flap at the front after son leaned on it.... not sure if 2013 model comes with stabiliser. We got an upgraded model that has alloy wheels, middle cushion at the front end and adora upholstery.

we had an 09 Altea 542, not sure when they revised it to the new layout but insulation is great, as above the electric heater element was not on our van and we just used 2 electric rads when on EHU.
Tows well, super robust and far better than our Baliey was.
Longer A frame - more stability and room for a double bike rack.
Air envelope means its virtually unheard of to have damp as there is no cold non moving air in the van when you run the ventilation.
Got another Adria now on an Adora 2012. Build quality and very robust as the Altea just more kit and a king size fixed bed...
------------- if your not living life on the edge your taking up tooo much room
