I have a gobur carousel folding caravan and I am more than pleased with it, they are easy to tow, there isn't wind resistance like there is with a conventional caravan, takes only a few minutes to erect although the awning takes longer but it does with a proper van, I have to admit if going anywhere for more than a couple of days you would probably need a full/ porch awning, the only negative for me is there is not a lot of room other than under the seats for carrying equipment when travelling as the wall cupboards take up the floor area so a lot of our stuff i.e. Aquaroll, waste water catcher, awning poles, step etc has to go in the car, otherwise they are a well thought out concept, but only for 1 or 2 people, people on site are quite surprised when they look inside ours, we love ours, we moved from having 2 different folding campers to our gobur which alleviated draughts and also wet pack ups however the beds in the campers could be left made up whereas ours cannot, sorry for length of post, if you are interested go to goburs showroom in melton constable Norfolk and have a look at them, Richard is very helpful and knowledgeable, you can also look on YouTube it has videos on putting up and taking down the gobur.
