Hello We are going to buy a newer caravan in a few weeks,and we have narrowed it down to 2 caravans! a swift challenger 2014 or a bailey Pegasus genoa 2014 both 2 Berth. We really like them both,but was wondering if any of you out there know of any problems with these models? Any info or advice would be very welcome. thank you

Both nice caravans and you can get good and bad in both. Don’t assume as it’s newer it will be water right, both brands suffer some models with water ingress so either buy from a dealer and ask for a damp report or if you buy privately I would recommend an independent inspection if you’re not confident with a damp meter.

Make sure you poke it everywhere. In cupboards, corners, near floor, around windows and anywhere any outside sockets have been installed.

Don't know about Bailey, but the Swift should have the balance of its 6 year body warranty - but only if the services are up to date. They make much of a 10 year warranty but that's only for the initial buyer.

Personally I would have an inspection done as the cost is minimal compared to the cost of the van.
