Every time we go to undo our caravans store it is always wet inside and water running down the roof when we unroll it.
Should the covers be watertight or is ours faulty.
Has anybody else had this problem and how do we stop it.
Thanks
However - how many dealers caravans do you see (brand new ones) that are fitted with covers. If they don't use them it could tell you something. I bought a front cover once - only used it once and it marked the caravan. Took it back - never used one since. As long as you wash and wax the van the shine should last for years.
You can get a company to clean your caravan and then spray it with some sort of coating. It is supposed to last for years and makes washing the van very easy.

Hi blueexpo97, ours isn't wet when we open ours out. although it doesn't live on the van much as ours is bailey alutech and cant get the bullets in the awning rail.
is it 100% dry when you roll it away? that was my only thought.
I have only used mine three times and on the latest occasion is was wet when I opened. Using next week so was planning to check it out then given how much wet weather we had recently.
I find that ours is frequently wet when we roll it out, even though I know it was dry when rolled up. Not sure how the water gets in.Ours stays on the van all the time, however, I had an opening made on the awning rail at the top so I can slide the caravan store off whilst rolled up in the bag. After our last trip I will slide it off and put it in the van for the winter.
Kelper not sure if either of those would work as the canopy is already in the awning rail. Could be wrong though.
I take it yours is fixed to the bodywork.

I've never had an issue with our Fiamma45 re damp/wet when unrolling ... do you have either of the water seals/rain guards: see here, and here
They are a different set up, stored in a metal casing !
I would imagine that the fabric although "touch dry" technically isn't dry at all and is still holding some amount of moisture. This is then evaporating and then condensing inside the bag that holds the canopy.
That's my opinion anyway, could be right could be wrong.
I have a Fiamma Caravanstore, and no matter how dry it appears to be when rolled away, it's often damp when we next use it. This hasn't been a problem though, nor has it caused any issue with the product.
I'm of a similar opinion to that posted by Shaggy2000 and assume it to slight moisture that's naturally present outdoors anyway.
