No idea, your family only adds up to five people though.

Hi Bosh

I think it may be on the small side for 5 / 6 of you.
In saying that it may be ok as a fixed bed for you both, and depending how old the kids are at least 3 on front bed one with you, or an anexe in the awning for a couple of them.
Depends on what use you intend it for, as some say it is, for only sleeping in and having the odd meal.

Oops. Yep 5 of us. I'd lose my head if it wasn't taped on. Thanks ray. We do have a awning and we do put the 2 older ones inside a tent inside the awning. They love it but come winter it's too cold for them. Just brought a oil filled heater for out there. Hope that will take the chill off.

Hi Bosh

I use a Duronic mica heater, model HV220
1800W 2000W
Leave on 1st setting.
Best heater i have ever had in an awning and van.
I got it from Tesco Direct, about £48 if i remember.

On Amazon as well.

To my mind the 430/4 is what I would call a small fixed bed. This means the living space is cramped to make room for the bed. Fine for 2 but you will struggle to all sit down.

Also with a young family a fixed bed means you must all go to bed at the same time unless the kids use the fixed bed.

Yeh we've decided to keep the one we got. We have a elddis avante at the moment. It's a 2004 we have it on a seasonal pitch in dawlish devon. We love it and it's perfect for what we need apart from the sleeping arrangements. Both boys no longer want to go on the bunk beds. Feels unsafe for them. Hence why the go in the tent in the awning. We think this every year. Come summer it's fine the boys love being out in the awning. Then winter comes and we worry every night they are in there. Specially after this storm briAn. Sounded like the awning was going to take off.

Also sounds a bit expensive. I assume this is a dealer price. I would be tempted to save at least £1k and buy private.

Good advice to save £1k, but then if anything goes wrong you do not have the security of CRA 2015.
