Hi, we have just ordered a breath of fresh air (Basecamp) I have one question, has anyone had a motor mover fitted yet, if so any recommendations? I realise it's a small van, but with a sloped drive, and single track road we can't reverse it in, we wondered where the switch etc would go?
Any help much appreciated
Thanks

Yes thanks Rob, Tina and Seanffdh, had read threads, no one seems to have had a mover fitted as yet, just chat about maybe getting one, I have asked for the upgrade weight to 1100kg which has cost me £50, might ring a motor mover fitted for advice
Thanks for replies
Thanks Andy, we have ordered our Basecamp from Broad lane, the sales guy wasn't sure where isolation switch etc would go, he said I could choose closer to the pick up. I wondered where people had had their switch etc fitted? Not sure I want another covered switch on the outside of the Basecamp, but what other options there are?
Thanks
Sian
It is on our current caravan, but the Basecamp has the battery in the floor and is only accessible from inside the caravan, so it's not possible to put it there.
Will have to wait and see what they suggest
Thanks
Sian
Ours is located under the bench seat next to the battery box. It has to be there as the door to the battery box is hard against a fence in the back garden, so impossible to get to.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
Hi Andy, I'm in Rugby too and I found Broad lane very helpful, my sister has had vans from them and always gets her's serviced there, but I have heard bad reports too. We thought we would get a Basecamp from them (Kenilworth) as we wanted somewhere close for servicing etc. They also gave us a great part ex price for our trade in, but time will tell
