I am disappointed with this site, not much good for buying vans from private sellers as I have only had one reply where the Caravan was still for sale. Others reply that they are sold or do not reply.

A bit of a time waster, Ebay or Autotrader seems better to me.

If the price is right. It is a good guide to layouts.

Businesses are not too good either Hucknall and Sherwood Oaks are not keen to reply. If they are not interested in new business they will not be interested in warranty work I presume.

Beechwood at Thirsk, Albion at Bradford and Kenmore at Mirfield always reply.

We use the site to get layouts, pics and price ideas. Both our last vans have been bought privately and we had saved each time on a dealer price.
Gumtree, eBay and sites like here are best but invest a few quid in a damp detector and torch and follow one of the many buying guides.

Thanks cris. I have my damp meter, it’s very good. Quite a few vans up to 12% damp reading.

This was good value I thought.

Thanks, I have my eye on a couple on Gumtree. I hope to check out the nearest in just over a week.

Preloved is worth looking at also. Ads on both expire after a certain time unlike Caravanfinder where I am told they stay on there for a year.

I sold mine on Preloved. Found it really easy to use and sold quickly.

Now is not an easy time of year to buy though as very few for sale but prices will be lower than in spring. Should be some bargains among them though.
