Hi, we are thinking of getting an e-go titanium, mainly due to their weight, very light, and also as the isolation switch can be fitted directly to the mover. Does anyone have one and would they recommend these movers?

I would have thought that having an isolation switch fitted direct to the mover wouldn't be practical due to the fact that it is open to the elements which could be a recipe for disaster regarding damp connections. Fitting the isolation switch in a sealed compartment such as the battery box is a much more practical idea which I believe is the norm.

Agree 100% with Tango. I have always fitted my own movers and had fitted several makes to different caravans. But I would recommend Powrtouch as they have a 5 year no quibble guarantee which I can vouch for. I had a motor start making a noise after 4 years but still working OK. I phoned Powrtouch who with no question sent me a new motor by courier next day to fit myself.

I have got a Powrtouch Revolution fitted to my caravan as like you said, they have an excellent reputation for good customer service. Never had to call them out but it's nice knowing that they are there if you ever need them.

I fitted my new motor and as they did not want the one I took off,I stripped it down and found one bearing dry. Replaced the bearing for under£5 and now have a complete spare motor unit.

I fitted an E Move to my caravan £500 5 year warranty (parts only cos I fitted it myself) off ebay, Bolsover caravans really nice people to deal with.

Got it swapped over to my new to me van.. works a treat.

It's the type you wind on to engage.. so I just use the drill when raising / lowering the steadies.

I agree that PowerTouch have a great after sales service. I phoned for advice on Friday afternoon and spoke to a really helpful person who explained exactly what was wrong and how to fix it. This is on a mover that is at least 7 years old. (it was on the caravan when we bought it so don't know the age as it might not have been new when fitted)

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.
