I want to revamp our van and fit new curtains using the 'popper' style rails that are installed. The front window is sloping and there is a rail top and bottom and my question is how well will the curtains slide when pulled back? I intend using new popper tape but my concern is that the friction created by two sets of rails will make drawing the curtains difficult - any advice please?
Our curtains have top and bottom rails, but they aren't a problem. You do have to alternate pulling first the top then the bottom (or vice versa) and consequently it does take a little longer, but we are talking seconds. Not a problem for us, we're on holiday so who cares.

Colin

Where do get the popped tape, I was wanting to do ours but was wondering about the tape. Thanks

Most people use the pull down blinds at night which saves having to slide the curtains to and fro each time.
Not everyone has pull-down blinds though. We don't. We don't have any problem with pulling our curtains though.
The only problem with the popper tape that I can see is a long term one. The plastic tape itself does break down and become brittle, but I suspect this takes many years. I have had to sew a couple of poppers back on, as the tape has broken down at the ends and the poppers came off. Our caravan is old though, 1992.
Just put one hand at the top and one at the bottom and slide back together! We always use our curtains as its somewhat cosier than just blinds - pity the fabric is so cheap though..

I have to agree Colin about my previous post as we had a Coachman 1992 model and that didn't have blinds on the front sloping windows either, only on the 2 side windows and the entrance door.
We do have some blinds too Tango55. On the kitchen window, the entrance door, and in the toilet/shower compartment, but there are none at the front on the sloping windows or at the sides. I suspect this was the case with many of the older vans.
Yes, I went into eBay and got it, reasonable price, now need to get the material, there's a lot of choice out there😀
It's a winter job so will have to wait as trips away now come first
