I think this problems happens when the battery is low.I know you've had the caravan running on mains power but it sounds like the charger isn't working or the battery isn't taking charge properly. Can you check the battery with a multimeter?

I am going to try it when I next go to the caravan and will let you know. It has been working fine for 3 months in parallel. Hope I haven't damaged anything if it is that
Find the white pressure switch - it has a wheel on top. When you switch to 12v, turn the wheel down as far as it will go, as in turning off a tap. Now turn the wheel the opposite way until the pump stops running, then a further half turn. You may have to adjust this slightly one way or the other.
This should do while you remain on 12v, but you may have to repeat the process when you switch back to 240v.
The issue is more pronounced if you are off EHU and the battery voltage is lower.

Hello. It’s usual to need to adjust the pressure switch when moving from ehu to battery. It only takes a couple of minutes.
I have had to to do this as well which is quite normal especially if we are on our way to a rally with no electrics and stop overnight at a CL and connect up the mains cable for just one night. When the pump is reliant on just 12 volt power it can create current stability problems which can cause the pump to run so a simple adjustment is all it takes to stabilise it. However, when you connect up to mains electric again it will require a simple reset again which is normal.
The following information is just a guideline:
When you turn on the COLD water tap, the pump light illuminates then when turned off it should take around 3-4 seconds for the pump light to extinguish (pump stops delivering). When you turn on the HOT tap it should take a little longer maybe 6-7 seconds because the system takes longer to re-pressurise due to replinishing of the hot water tank. When you turn the dial on top of the pressure switch you need to adjust the COLD water only and watch the pump light, count down the seconds as previous but the shorter time it takes for the cold to switch off the longer it takes the hot so you have to find the right balance as previously stated. I find that if you set the COLD to around 3-4 seconds that's about right as you have no control over the hot, it's just a matter of getting the balance as best as you can.
