Currently, we are members of the C&CC, and have our 'vans insurance through the club.
For reasons i wont go into, we are proposing to jump ship to the caravan/motorhome and whatever else club.
If we did bin the latter, would it affect our insurance, given we would no longer be members?

Insurance taken out with The Camping & Caravanning Club or the Caravan and Motorhome Club is no different to taking out insurance with the AA or the RAC etc. so it means that you just continue with that insurance till the day it expires. If you are no longer members of that club you won't be able to renew the policy but the insurance company acting on their behalf may well send you a new quote for the following year. That's when you can decide if you want to jump ship to an alternative insurance company.
